This December:

  • You rode the lifts 425,834 times.
  • Your favorite lift was Deer Point Express– which you rode 192,367 times this December– followed by Morning Star Express (128,704), Coach (52,358), and The Explorer Terrain Park Conveyor (38,483).
  • Meanwhile, you enjoyed 23″ of fresh* pow and 273 hours of access to fun, affordable mountain recreation at your local mountain.

*Plus, Bogus Basin set new snowmaking records this month, turning 9,302,021 gallons of repurposed water into snow– equivalent to a football field 21.6′ tall– to keep you riding all December-long!

Those of you who frequented the mountain this December earned yourselves the rightful title of Mountain Minimalist. We saw you out here doing the most with less, embracing low tides with unequivocal fervor, and reminding the rest of us that inches are just a unit of measurement. Plus, let’s not forget: you still pray for snow like a maximalist. Thanks for that.

That’s a wrap on 2023!

Thanks to our community for a great start to the winter season.
