Bogus Basin Season Continues with Bonus Weekend AND Events
Boise, Idaho – Bogus Basin has announced a Bonus Weekend of skiing and riding on Saturday, April 19th, and Sunday, April 20th, giving guests more time to hit the slopes and enjoy an unforgettable 2024/25 winter season.
The weekend will feature exciting highlights, including a pond skim and live music performances, making for a perfect way to celebrate the season.

From maintenance to snowmaking to lift operations, everyone is working together to make the season memorable. “

All lifts, with the exception of Bitterroot, will operate, and all 2024/25 season passes will be valid for the weekend, including Night, Twilight, Midweek, and Nordic passes.
Bogus Basin Bonus Weekend Highlights:
- Music with DJ Locomotive on Saturday, starting at 11:00 am
- Saturday Pond Skim at 12:00 pm: A true rite of passage, the Pond Skim invites participants to ski or snowboard into a frigid pool with the goal of skimming across to the other side. Spectators will line the banks of the pond, cheering on the participants.
- Live Music by High Pine Whiskey Yell on Sunday: This popular local band will close out the weekend with a performance on the ICCU Plaza Sunday afternoon from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
Operating hours for the weekend are from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Lift tickets are available for purchase online or at the Simplot Ticket Window.

About Bogus Basin Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area is a 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to engaging the community to provide accessible, affordable, and fun year-round mountain recreation and education. Opened in 1942, Bogus Basin offers 2,600 acres of daytime skiable terrain and 200 acres for night skiing, seven chairlifts and three people-mover carpets, and an 800-foot tubing hill. The Nordic Center offers 37 kilometers of groomed trails for skiing and snowshoeing. Environmental education and community outreach programs, primarily youth, serve over 20,000 individuals annually. Summer activities include The Glade Runner Mountain Coaster, The Mine Shaft Challenge Course, mountain biking, events, hiking and chairlift service for hike and bike transport.
