Ride Better together With Treadshare
This winter, we’re making it easier than ever to share the ride to Bogus Basin with TreadShare, a free carpooling app that safely connects drivers and passengers heading in the same direction. It’s an easy way to split gas, save money, and reduce the number of cars on the road and in our parking lots – plus, you can win prizes!

How Treadshare Works
Whether you’re heading up for a powder morning, a few evening laps, or a weekend snowshoe, TreadShare makes coordinating rides simple and flexible:
- Download the TreadShare app (iOS and Android)
- Create your profile and verify your account
- Join the Idaho Winter group
- Post your trip as a driver or request a ride as a passenger
- Book both your ride up and your ride down — TreadShare lets you customize your schedule so you can head up or return whenever you want *as long as a ride is available.
- Connect, split gas, and go!

Let’s Ride Together
Bogus Basin and the Treasure Valley are growing — and so is the number of vehicles on Bogus Basin Road. Carpooling helps keep things flowing: fewer cars on the road means a safer drive, less congestion, easier parking, and a lower environmental impact. Programs like this work when you participate – every shared ride helps keep access to the mountain smooth, sustainable, and enjoyable for everyone. Download TreadShare today & get rolling up the mountain – we’ll see you on the snow!
