About the Artists
Mattravers•Bell
Maci Mattravers and Grady Bell have long bonded over their shared passions for music and now, the two have come together to create soundscapes and serenades.
Maci Mattravers began singing from the time she could talk, and in her teenage years spent a large portion of her school career diving into violin, piano, and guitar as well. Her debut EP, To The Bone, was released in February of 2024. The EP, which started as a small independent project, quickly garnered over 50k streams across platforms and has drawn a growing base of listeners to appreciate her introspective songwriting and lyrical prowess. Maci’s music blends elements of indie, folk, and is inspired by the legacy of artists such as Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, and Brandi Carlile. On December 14th, 2024, Maci released her anticipated debut album, Back to the Garden.
Grady Bell started playing guitar early in his childhood, but grew a feverish passion for the instrument in his teenage years. Since then, he has cut his teeth and paid his dues in local bars and clubs with various cover groups, eventually leading to an original band, called MÔS. With Maci, Grady explores his more personal relationship with music and seeks to imbue the work with the often tragic beauty he notices surrounding him.

Though originally entangled in an arbitrary family tree, the duo truly came together in the winter of 2024, through Maci’s building a band to support her in performances of her original music. After playing together in this ensemble, the two decided to unite under the name Mattravers•Bell, inspired by a mutual passion for album, Cunningham Bird (which was in fact inspired by Cunningham and Bird’s passion for the project, Buckingham Nicks).
Mattravers•Bell seeks to spend dedicated time in the next year collaborating on their debut project, a collection of songs written and recorded by only the two.
