Summer Projects
Snow Secure
If you were on the mountain last summer, you may have noticed a large white tarp on the lower Coach’s Corner Run. What was underneath? Snow!!
As part of our efforts to reliably open for skiing and snowboarding in the early winter, we’re storing snow through the summer using a Finnish technology called Snow Secure.
We’re saving it so you can ride it next winter – you’ll see the pile of snow from last season on the lower Coach’s Corner Run all summer long!
Green Climber
This summer, we’re excited to add the Green Climber to our fleet, enhancing our ability to manage vegetation across the mountain. This remote-controlled machine can tackle slopes as steep as 60°, making brush cutting safer, more efficient, and more effective in hard-to-reach areas. Watch for the Green Climber’s brush cutting progress out on some of your favorite trails this summer!
