Bogus Basin Invites the Treasure Valley to Enjoy the Fourth of July Holiday Weekend on the Mountain with free events and Summer activities

Boise, Idaho – Bogus Basin is inviting the community to enjoy a holiday weekend full of free events, in addition to the summer activities offered daily. The non-profit mountain recreation area is open from 11 am to 7 pm through September, offering a wide range of family friendly adventures, including The Mineshaft Challenge Course, Glade Runner Mountain Coaster, scenic chairlift rides, and more.

The Morning Star Express chairlift and The Basin Gravity Park downhill bike trails are open to mountain bikers of all ages and skill levels. The Deer Point Express is open for scenic chairlift rides and cross-country trail access Friday through Sunday.

The J.R. Simplot Lodge and Double R Ranch food and beverage outlets are open daily from 11 am to 7 pm.

“With highs in the valley reaching triple digits this week, Bogus Basin offers a refreshing mountain escape. Temperatures are 10-20 degrees cooler, just 16 miles up the road. Our proximity to the valley makes it easy to spend the full day, or just an hour on the mountain.”
