Beat the valley heat and head to the mountains for a full lineup of free summer events—from live music by local and touring artists to weekly yoga classes and more — running June through September. Mark your calendars and get ready for a summer of fun at your Local Playground!

Expected to open in mid-June, summer operations and activities on the mountain — including the Mineshaft Challenge Course, Glade Runner Mountain Coaster, Basin Gravity Park, Scenic Lift Rides, and more — offer fun for all ages.


Boise Mountain Bike Festival

The Boise Mountain Festival, happening June 27th, is a fun, community-focused celebration for mountain bikers of all levels.

Festival registration is now open.


Free Music All Summer

We’re hosting over 30 free music events this summer, including five free concerts on the lawn in front of the ICCU Base Area Plaza, and live Music on the Patio every weekend.

Music On The Mountain Summer Concert Series

This summer, we’ve teamed up with Duck Club — the folks behind Treefort Music Fest — to assemble a fantastic lineup of artists, mixing local favorites with up-and-coming touring acts.

Weekend morning Yoga on the Mountain begins Saturday, June 21st, weather permitting.

Sound Bathing Yoga

Sound bathing Yoga on the Mountain classes, featuring a meditative sound experience using crystal bowls, return to the mountain on the first Sunday of the month. Save the dates!

NICA State Championship Races

We welcome 26 high school and middle school mountain bike teams and their families from all over Idaho for the 11th annual NICA State Championship races on October 4th, 2025.


About Bogus Basin Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area is a 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to engaging the community to provide accessible, affordable, and fun year-round mountain recreation and education. Opened in 1942, Bogus Basin offers 2,600 acres of daytime skiable terrain and 200 acres for night skiing, seven chairlifts and three people-mover carpets, and an 800-foot tubing hill. The Nordic Center offers 37 kilometers of groomed trails for skiing and snowshoeing. Environmental education and community outreach programs, primarily youth, serve over 20,000 individuals annually. Summer activities include The Glade Runner Mountain Coaster, The Mine Shaft Challenge Course, mountain biking, events, hiking and chairlift service for hike and bike transport. Bogus Basin is located 16.5 miles north of Boise, Idaho, and operates under a special use permit with the Boise National Forest. www.bogusbasin.org
