Colette Wright

Colette’s journey at Bogus Basin began nearly seven years ago as the Groups & Events Coordinator, where she shaped many of the mountain’s year-round events. Driven by a passion for elevating the guest experience, she moved into her current role as Group Sales Manager. Today, Colette focuses on expanding and refining Bogus Basin’s group offerings.

Colette prides herself on building lasting relationships, serving as a trusted, hands-on partner for clients from the initial brainstorm to the day of the event.

“My favorite part of working in group sales is helping people create meaningful experiences. I love listening to a client’s goals, understanding their vision, and coordinating all the pieces needed to bring it to life. No two groups are the same, which keeps every day interesting!”

This summer, Colette looks forward to launching some new options for group events on the mountain. With the updated renovations to the Pioneer Lodge and closing in on the wrap up of The Outpost, Bogus Basin has a lot to offer, right now and in the future. Colette is very excited to see these spaces come to life. On a personal note, she’s ready for a summer of campfires and outdoor adventures!

Colette’s favorite venue space at Bogus Basin is the top floor of the Pioneer Lodge, particularly the big windows that make for great views no matter where you sit!

The Pioneer Lodge is a flexible venue that can be used in a variety of ways. Its refined design offers an exclusive atmosphere while maintaining the charm of a mountain retreat.

“Seeing guests enjoy an experience that was thoughtfully planned from start to finish is such a rewarding experience!”

Colette’s favorite part about working at Bogus Basin is the people. She believes there is a genuine sense of community among the employees that help create an environment that is both welcoming and very collaborative. She also enjoys being surrounded by fresh air and incredible scenery!

In her free time, find Colette exploring with her family, either by bike, foot, skis or rope!

Fun fact: Colette grew up skiing at Mount Hood Meadows before trading her skis for a snowboard in high school. After moving to Germany in her mid-20s, she found her way back to skiing and never looked back. The skis officially won!
