Bogus Basin Announces Opening Date and Free Summer Event Lineup
Boise, Idaho – Bogus Basin announced its lineup of free summer events, including Yoga on the Mountain and a full live music schedule. The Basin Gravity Park, featuring lift-assisted downhill biking, and summer activities open for the season on Friday, June 19th.

The Basin Gravity Park and summer activities will be open Wednesday through Sunday, 11 am – 7 pm, plus holidays, from June 19th through Labor Day (September 7th). The Double R Ranch, Bogus Creek Lodge, and Bogus Creek Grill will be open Wednesday through Sunday, 11 am to 7 pm.
Mountain facilities will be closed on non-holiday Mondays and Tuesdays.

Community Events
The popular Music on the Mountain free concert series kicks off on Saturday, July 5th. For the second summer in a row, Bogus Basin has partnered with Duck Club — a Boise-based entertainment agency and creators of Treefort Music Festival — to bring a unique lineup of artists, featuring both regional and touring acts, to the mountain. Headlining acts include Orquesta Akokán, a Cuban mambo band, psychedelic soul group Monophonics, and Jeff Crosby, a returning favorite.
Yoga on the Mountain, in partnership with Yoga For Life, begins on Saturday, June 20th. Free yoga classes continue on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 10 am, and Friday evenings at 6:30 pm through Labor Day Weekend.

The mountain will host other social programs on the mountain throughout the summer, including free Guided Nature Hikes, and the the Community Race Series for downhill and cross-country mountain bikers. Mountain officials encourage guests to check the events calendar, and Bogus Basin’s social media accounts throughout the summer for the latest activities and programs.
Boise Mountain Bike Festival
The annual Boise Mountain Bike Festival, an event for mountain bikers to connect and celebrate the season, will be held on Saturday, June 27th.

About Bogus Basin Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area is a 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to engaging the community to provide accessible, affordable, and fun year-round mountain recreation and education. Opened in 1942, Bogus Basin offers 2,600 acres of daytime skiable terrain and 200 acres for night skiing, seven chairlifts and three conveyor lifts, and an 800-foot tubing hill. The Nordic Center offers 37 kilometers of groomed trails for skiing and snowshoeing. Environmental education and community outreach programs, primarily youth, serve over 20,000 individuals annually. Summer activities include The Glade Runner Mountain Coaster, The Mine Shaft Challenge Course, mountain biking, events, hiking and chairlift service for hike and bike transport.
