February 12, 2021 (BOISE, ID)– Bogus Basin announced today that season passes will go on sale February 19th. The sale, which offers the lowest prices of the year, will run through February 28th.
Brad Wilson, General Manager, said, “This season, we’ve focused on providing the best possible experience and unlimited access for pass holders while maintaining our COVID safety protocols. This includes limiting day lift ticket sales every weekend since we opened, and requiring advance ticket purchase to guarantee access. We appreciate the loyalty of our season pass holders, and with them in mind, have created a range of new options that keep the area accessible and affordable for the community.”
As a non-profit, Bogus Basin reinvests all earnings back into the area. Recent upgrades such as expanded snowmaking operations, a high speed chairlift, mountain bike park, summer activity options, and popular free community programs have spurred strong year-round visitation to the area.
For the first time in its history, Bogus Basin is offering a year-round pass. The “True Bogus Season Pass,” provides unlimited access to alpine and Nordic skiing and snowboarding in the winter, and season-long mountain bike park lift access and scenic lift/hiking access in summer. True Bogus Season Pass holders will also receive benefits, such as free tickets to partner resorts, discounted activities at Bogus Basin, and free membership in the Powder Alliance– a reciprocal season pass program at 18 different ski resorts.
Other changes to Bogus Basin’s season passes take advantage of its proximity to the Treasure Valley, long operating hours, and family friendly atmosphere. “We believe strongly in keeping outdoor recreation affordable for families, and are proud to announce that we are introducing three new family season pass options priced under $500,” said Wilson.
Even as the Treasure Valley continues to grow, Bogus Basin has plenty of capacity during off-peak times, such as evenings and midweek. Affordable pass options during these periods include the Twilight Season Pass, which provides unlimited 7-day-a-week-access throughout the season from 3:00pm to close, and the Midweek Season Pass. The price of the Midweek Season Pass has been reduced significantly for next season.
