Bogus Basin to Hire 65 Employees for the Summer Season

May 10, 2019 (BOISE, ID)– Bogus Basin will hire up to 65 employees for the 2019 summer season over the next few weeks. The nonprofit recreation area will open for weekend summer operations on Friday, May 25th, in time for Memorial Day. Seven-day-a-week operations will begin on Friday, June 21st.

A range of full and part-time seasonal opportunities are available, including Summer Activities Operators, Mountain Coaster Operators, Mountain Ticket Sales Associates, and more. Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Bogus Basin offers competitive wages, a fun work atmosphere, free transportation to the mountain, food and beverage discounts, free summer season passes for employees, and more.

Last year, an estimated 100,000 summer guests visited the area to enjoy a range of activities, including the Glade Runner Mountain Coaster, hiking, biking, chairlift rides, and free music events.

About Bogus Basin Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area is a 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to engaging the community to provide accessible, affordable, and fun year-round mountain recreation and education. Opened in 1942, Bogus Basin offers 2,600 acres of daytime skiable terrain and 200 acres for night skiing, seven chairlifts and three people-mover carpets, and an 800-foot tubing hill. The Nordic Center offers 37 kilometers of groomed trails for skiing and snowshoeing. Environmental education and community outreach programs, primarily youth, serve over 20,000 individuals annually.
