September 29, 2015 (BOISE, ID)– Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area has announced plans to hire 500 employees for the 2015-16 ski/snowboard season.
A few opportunities are now available. Most of the job openings will be posted online at www.bogusbasin.org on October 1st. A job fair is planned on Saturday, October 17th from 11:00am-4:00pm at the Highlands Event Center, located at 2590 N. Bogus Basin Road (inside the Pursuit Church).
A range of full and part-time, weekend and holiday-only opportunities are available, including: Ski Instructors, Snowboard Instructors, Chair Riders, Day Care Attendant, Ski School Sales Clerk, Lift Operators, Rental Shop, Ski Patrol, Ticket Office, Plow Drivers, Parking Lot Attendant, and more.
Bogus Basin, the largest nonprofit ski/snowboard area in the nation, offers competitive wages, a fun work atmosphere, free transportation to the mountain, free season passes for employees, and more. Last year, over 170,000 people visited the mountain to enjoy a range of winter activities.

Bogus Basin is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to engaging the community to provide accessible, affordable, and fun year-round mountain recreation and education. Opened in 1942, Bogus Basin offers 2,600 acres of daytime skiable terrain, and 165 acres for night skiing; seven lifts and two people-mover carpets; and an 800-foot tubing hill. The Nordic Center offers 37 kilometers of groomed trails. Summer activities include mountain biking, amphitheater events, disc golf, private events, and hiking.
