Bogus Basin Hosts Summer Season Finale Featuring Live Music, Outdoor Activities, and Free Events During the Holiday Weekend
Boise, Idaho – Bogus Basin marks its final weekend of summer operations with a full lineup of free community events and mountain activities. Highlights include the season finale of Music on the Mountain on Saturday, Music on the Patio performances Sunday and Monday, and free morning Yoga on the Mountain sessions Saturday through Monday.
Music on the Mountain
The mountain team invites the Treasure Valley community to enjoy free music performances by Don Hurt Band, High Pine Whiskey Yell, and headliner Jeff Crosby in the scenic base area on Saturday from 1 pm to 5 pm.
During the music on Saturday, guests can stop by the Double R Ranch venue tent for fresh pizza by the slice and a featured Aperol Spritz cocktail special.

We are thrilled to welcome Jeff Crosby back for his band’s annual Labor Day performance, alongside regional favorites Don Hurt Band and High Pine Whiskey Yell.”

Summer Activities Open 11 am to 7 pm
Guests can enjoy all summer activities throughout the holiday weekend – including The Glade Runner Mountain Coaster, Scenic Chairlift Rides, Mineshaft Challenge Course, and lift-served downhill biking at The Basin Gravity Park.
The holiday weekend also features free Music on the Patio performances on Sunday, September 6th, and Monday, September 7th (Labor Day), alongside all regular summer activities.
Free Yoga on the Mountain classes with Yoga for Life will take place on Friday evening at 6:30 pm, as well as Saturday, Sunday, and Monday mornings at 10 am.

About Bogus Basin Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area is a 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to engaging the community to provide accessible, affordable, and fun year-round mountain recreation and education. Opened in 1942, Bogus Basin offers 2,600 acres of daytime skiable terrain and 200 acres for night skiing, seven chairlifts and three conveyor lifts, and an 800-foot tubing hill. The Nordic Center offers 37 kilometers of groomed trails for skiing and snowshoeing. Environmental education and community outreach programs, primarily youth, serve over 20,000 individuals annually.
