February 9 @ 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
Join the Winter Wildlands Alliance as they host a conversation about snow science and the impacts that climate change is having on winter recreation in Idaho. We are excited to bring educators, scientists, snow adventurers, and the public together.
Alongside longtime friends at Idaho Conservation League, we are pleased to join in on the fun for their Winter Recreation Science Pub.
Speakers include Kerry McClay, WWA National SnowSchool Director; Dirk Anderson Jr., Environmental Education & Stewardship Coordinator at Bogus Basin; and HP Marshall, Associate Professor Cryosphere Geophysics And Remote Sensing (CryoGARS), Department of Geosciences, Boise State University.
No RSVP or scientific background is required. Just bring your curiosity, sense of humor, and appetite for drinks and knowledge!
Drinks will be served by Lost Grove Brewing.
