Volunteer opportunity: seed collection

Come volunteer with Bogus Basin’s Sustainability & Stewardship team and help collect native wildflower seeds! As part of our ongoing restoration and revegetation efforts, Bogus Basin is working with several nurseries to grow native plants for pollinator restoration projects on the mountain. As part of that process, we need to collect seeds from our mountain to pass along to the expert growers at the nurseries. Meet at the Frontier Point Lodge!

What to expect

  • Our Sustainability & Stewardship Team will take you on a leisurely stroll and guide you in the process of collecting seeds while providing education on these special native plants.
  • All tools and materials are provided.
  • Be sure to come dressed/prepared for the day. Water, sunscreen, and close-toed shoes are a must.
  • Anyone and everyone are welcome! No experience is necessary. Minors must be accompanied by an adult
  • Restrooms and a water fountain are available at Frontier Point Lodge
