Ready to escape the valley heat this summer? Music On The Mountain is a free event the whole family will enjoy! Bring a blanket and some lawn chairs, grab a drink and delicious lunch from the J.R. Simplot Lodge or Double R Ranch BBQ Smokehouse, and join us for a day of summer mountain fun. Featured Artists on August 10th include Mungo and MarchFourth!

Mungo
Meet Mungo, a true artistic chameleon whose creativity knows no bounds. With a passion for dance, a talent for art and design, and a knack for making music, Mungo is a versatile artist who defies categorization. He is a true polymath, and he proudly describes himself as protean, constantly shape-shifting his creative expression to explore new horizons.
Mungo, originally from Malawi and now residing in Boise, Idaho, fuses Afro-Soul and RnB into his captivating music. With soulful vocals and captivating dance moves, he’s gaining recognition in the city’s music scene. He has just released a four-track EP titled “Wishes,” in which he explores the concept of hopes and dreams.
The next step for this artist and the band that comprises Justin Tam, Scott Eisele, Stephanie Sanchez, Tessa Ritchey and Aaron Bell is getting out an album by the end of the year. His heartfelt music and engaging performances promise to leave a lasting impact as he continues to rise as an artist to watch.
MarchFourth
MarchFourth is a joy-inducing force of entertainment, celebrating their 21st Anniversary this year. The colorful explosion of brassy funk, rock, and jazz is all about the groove. This larger-than-life group of 15 musicians, dancers and acrobats brings a spirit of celebration wherever they go. MarchFourth is, in a word, FUN!
With exceptional musical quality and a visual kaleidoscope of performers, MarchFourth is a spectacle of high-energy compositions, colorful costumes, and irresistible charisma! M4 has been seen on stages from ESPN’s Espy Awards to festivals like Wakarusa, Bumbershoot, and High Sierra Music Fest, to world-class venues like The Kennedy Center, Hollywood Bowl, The Fillmore, and even a cultural exchange tour to China, sponsored by the US State Department.
MarchFourth’s track “Gospel” (from their self-released album Rise Up, 2009) was featured as the closing credits theme song in the Disney/Pixar animated film, Monsters University. MarchFourth’s new album Worth It is due out in 2023.
