With warm temperatures in the forecast this week, the Mountain Operations team is preparing to wrap up winter operations on Sunday, March 22nd. We’re sending out the season in style with a Meltdown Party! Join us on the mountain for a day packed with festivities — live music, a costume parade, games, and plenty of springtime fun on the slopes.

All 2025/26 Season Pass holders are invited to ride with us on Sunday, March 22nd ♥️

Costume Party and Parade

12 pm

Ride down Ridge Run in your costume! Anyone is welcome to join in the parade.

Kick off the day with a costume party! Wear your wackiest, most stylish, and creative outfits while you take a run down the Ridge. Prizes are up for grabs for the most outlandish outfits!*

The parade begins at 12 pm, all participants will meet at the top of the Deer Point Chairlift at 11:45 am.

*You must be able to ride up the chairlift safely in your costume. Backpacks and/or any bag that has straps that may go over one or both shoulders, over the head, or torso, etc. must be removed before boarding lifts and while passengers are seated on lifts


Fun in the Sun

9 Am – 4:30 pm

We’ll be out on the snow enjoying time with the community all day long! Jam out to tunes & entertainment from 11 am to 2 pm.

Play fun games in the base area throughout the day!


Free Music with High Pine Whiskey Yell

High Pine Whiskey Yell takes to the base area on Sunday from 2 pm to 5 pm! Come up & get your groove on!

About Bogus Basin Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area is a 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to engaging the community to provide accessible, affordable, and fun year-round mountain recreation and education. Opened in 1942, Bogus Basin offers 2,600 acres of daytime skiable terrain and 200 acres for night skiing, seven chairlifts and three conveyor lifts, and an 800-foot tubing hill. The Nordic Center offers 37 kilometers of groomed trails for skiing and snowshoeing. Environmental education and community outreach programs, primarily youth, serve over 20,000 individuals annually. Summer activities include The Glade Runner Mountain Coaster, The Mine Shaft Challenge Course, mountain biking, events, hiking and chairlift service for hike and bike transport. Bogus Basin is located 16.5 miles north of Boise, Idaho, and operates under a special use permit with the Boise National Forest. www.bogusbasin.org
