7th Annual Don Baker Banked Slalom

Boise’s favorite snowboard event is back for its 7th year! The Legendary Don Baker Banked Slalom is an amazing event in memory of an outstanding and influential individual in the local community. Come celebrate the sport of snowboarding and the life of a local legend, by strapping in and pointing it to the finish line.

The course is hand dug by volunteers and terrain park staff. Featuring steep pitches, tight turns, and rollers. This course never disappoints and if you are interested in helping build the course, please reach out on Facebook, Instagram (@bogusbasinterrainparks), email: corey@bogusbasin.org

Registration Cost: $0 – $50 depending on class

Please arrive at the mountain between 8 am and 9 am to ensure parking. The lodge is open for breakfast at 8:30 am so feel free to stop in to grab some pre-race grub.

Event Schedule (subject to change due to weather or other)

8 am – 10 am: In-person Registration/Bib Pickup (online Registration highly preferred)(in-person bib pickup mandatory)

9:45 am – 10:30 am: Course slip

10:45 am – Riders meeting (top of Sourdough off of Deer Point Chairlift)

11 am – 4 pm: Race Runs 1 & 2
