Staying One Turn Ahead

Our 2024/25 Annual Report is more than just a recap — it highlights how your ongoing support has fueled our work and strengthened our service to the community. You’ll find the year’s achievements and a look at our financial health, reflecting both our resilience and the power of teamwork. Explore the stories below to see the impact you’ve made possible.

NEW DEFENSES AGAINST WILDFIRE

Wildfire is a major risk for Western ski areas, with Bogus Basin’s insurance nearing $500,000 annually. To protect our infrastructure, we’ve added high-pressure sprinklers, three water trucks, monthly staff fire drills, and ongoing safety measures, making us a leader in wildfire defense.

Beyond the Classroom

Last fall, hundreds of Treasure Valley students joined Bogus Basin field trips, exploring animal adaptations, forest ecology, and watershed science. Hands-on learning sparked curiosity and stewardship, inspiring schools to expand the program in 2025. For those who couldn’t visit, our Environmental Education Team brought lessons straight to classrooms.

Bogus Basin Patrol Wins Top Honors

Bogus Basin’s Volunteer Ski Patrol and Mountain Hosts work alongside our paid patrol team and earned top honors at the 2025 Pacific Northwest Division National Ski Patrol Convention. Their awards highlight the dedication and professionalism that keep guests safe year-round.

Pioneer Lodge Exterior Remodel

After closing on May 3rd — the second time operating in May in 83 years — Bogus Basin crews shifted to summer projects, starting an exterior remodel of the historic Pioneer Lodge to improve accessibility and serve the growing Treasure Valley community. The project highlights our commitment to reinvesting in infrastructure that enhances the guest experience.
