The Faces of Pioneer Lodge
Introducing Caleb & Niki
You’ve seen them behind the bar, in the kitchen, bussing tables, and sharing laughs with guests. Get to know Caleb McLaughlin and Niki Clark, Food and Beverage Managers at Bogus Basin.
Caleb McLaughlin
Caleb McLaughlin joined the Bogus Basin team last fall, after relocating to Boise from the Sun Valley area.
Caleb has over 18 years of experience working in Food and Beverage service, including at Sun Valley Lodge and the Sawtooth Club. He has also played a key role in opening new restaurants, most recently in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Caleb has enjoyed working on the Bogus Basin team, and looks forward to providing an excellent experience at Pioneer Lodge, with updated amenities and friendly faces.
“You never know what you’re gonna get when you come to a place and [Bogus Basin] has been an amazing surprise. Everybody is so accommodating, has a great attitude, and the teamwork is a huge part of it, and it’s been great.”
Caleb McLaughlin, Food and Beverage Manager
Caleb prioritizes keeping the lodge clean, organized, and inviting for all guests. His goal is to use his experience from working in high-end venues to bring an elevated feel to the Pioneer Lodge, while maintaining its local charm.
Caleb’s favorite part of the Pioneer Lodge remodel is the updated lettering on the front side of the lodge, that offers a nod to the past.
Niki Clark
Niki has been a part of the Bogus Basin team on and off for twelve years, becoming Food & Beverage Manager in 2024. Niki has 30 years of experience working in food and beverage, including 20 years in management roles. Her background includes working as a cook, server, and manager in both the kitchen and front of house, as well as helping train teams for new restaurant openings across the country.

The new windows in Pioneer Lodge are Niki’s favorite part of the recent remodel, which offer panoramic mountain views and plenty of natural light.
“My favorite part about working at Bogus Basin is the people that I work with and its location! It’s great to get out of town and work with an incredible team every day. Working at Bogus Basin has been a great change of pace from the dynamics of working in the downtown restaurant atmosphere.”
Niki Clark, Food and Beverage Manager
