Since work began in April — just one day after the winter 2024/25 season wrapped — crews have been making steady progress on what will be the most significant renovation in the lodge’s 50-year history. Designed by Boise-based erstad Architects and built by VERTICAL Construction, the remodel will deliver long-awaited improvements that enhance accessibility, safety, and comfort for all guests.
“The changes to Pioneer Lodge are just one part of a much bigger transformation happening around the Bitterroot Basin. From improved access and amenities inside the lodge to the new chairlift outside, every update is about making the area more enjoyable for guests year-round.”
– Nate Shake, Director of Mountain Operations
