Bogus Basin will host the final Music on the Mountain concert of the summer this Saturday, August 30Th

Boise, Idaho – Bogus Basin invites the community to enjoy the final Music on the Mountain concert of the season this Saturday, August 30th, with national headliner Kendra Morris and local favorites Mondo Pondo and Red Caroline. The free show runs from 2 pm to 6 pm in the mountain’s scenic base area, part of a full lineup of Labor Day weekend activities.

Music on the Mountain

Kendra Morris, a New York–based soul singer-songwriter originally from St. Petersburg, Florida, is known for blending retro grooves with cinematic storytelling. She first gained attention with her single “Concrete Waves” and a striking cover of Pink Floyd’s “Shine On You Crazy Diamond.” A visual artist as well as a musician, she brings a DIY spirit to her craft, even designing collage and stop-motion pieces to complement her music.

Morris is currently on a national tour leading up to her highly anticipated new album, Next, out September 19, 2025. True to her creative approach, the record will be packaged as a playable board game, complete with cards, punch-outs, and collectible dice.

“Music on the Mountain is all about fun, community, and enjoying the outdoors. Having nationally acclaimed Kendra Morris here for our finale makes this holiday weekend a reason to celebrate at Bogus Basin.”

Corey McDonald, Bogus Basin’s Mountain Programs and Events Manager

In addition to the free concert, guests can enjoy all summer activities throughout the holiday weekend — and every weekend through the end of September — including The Glade Runner Mountain Coaster, Scenic Chairlift Rides, Mineshaft Challenge Course, and lift-served downhill biking at The Basin Gravity Park. Visitors are advised of some trail closures due to construction at Pioneer Lodge, where a major exterior renovation is underway to improve accessibility and enhance the overall guest experience.

The holiday weekend also features free Music on the Patio performances on Sunday, August 31st, and Monday, September 1st (Labor Day), alongside all regular summer activities. Bogus Basin heads into its final month of weekend operations in September, rounding out a record-setting season of community events and mountain fun.
