Message from Bogus Basin General Manager regarding COVID-19

Blue Oval With Bogus Basin In The Center

March 13, 2020 (BOISE, ID)– With the safety of our guests and employees a top priority, Bogus Basin has taken a number of precautionary measures against the coronavirus so that we can all continue to enjoy the area during these times of uncertainty. Based upon CDC and State of Idaho recommendations for preventing COVID-19, we have taken the following actions:

-Increase cleaning and disinfecting of highly trafficked areas, such as restrooms, cafeterias, food stations, work stations, throughout the area

-Installing Clorox wipe dispensers near food & beverage areas in the lodges

-Providing hand sanitizer throughout lodges and other facilities

-Prohibiting symptomatic employees from working

-Allowing guests to ride alone or with fewer people on the chairlifts

-Canceling all upcoming mountain events

-Discontinuing public bus services

For those of us who love to ski and snowboard, spending time in the fresh mountain air at Bogus Basin is one of life’s great joys. We are open but will continue to evaluate changes and the impact on operations. Please help us in our efforts to avoid coronavirus by following the preventative steps provided by the CDC. Our team will continue to adapt as new information becomes available, and will provide updates via our website, social media, and email.
