Limited Night Operations At Bogus Basin begin Ahead of the Holiday Weekend

Boise, Idaho – Bogus Basin announced plans to begin limited night operations in time for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend. Night skiing and riding will be offered Thursday through Sunday this week. The Morning Star Express, Deer Point Express, and Coach Chairlift will operate until 10:00 pm, and the Easy Rider Conveyor, Discovery Conveyor, and Explorer Conveyor – providing access to the Explorer Terrain Park, will operate until 9:00 pm. After this weekend, limited night operations will continue Thursday – Saturday. Daily operations continue until 4:30 pm, outside the night schedule.

Updated Season Pass Access, Twilight & Night Tickets

In addition to night operations, Bogus Basin will offer a full lineup of weekend and holiday activities. The Frontier Point Nordic Trail System is available for daily access, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Free guided snowshoe tours will be offered on Saturday and Sunday. The tubing hill will operate Friday through Monday providing a fun, family friendly experience. Full food and beverage service is available at Bogus Creek Lodge during operating hours. Additionally, public bus service will resume this weekend, including the Monday holiday. On January 19th, Bogus Basin will observe holiday hours.

About Bogus Basin Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area is a 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to engaging the community to provide accessible, affordable, and fun year-round mountain recreation and education. Opened in 1942, Bogus Basin offers 2,600 acres of daytime skiable terrain and 200 acres for night skiing, seven chairlifts and three conveyor lifts, and an 800-foot tubing hill. The Nordic Center offers 37 kilometers of groomed trails for skiing and snowshoeing. Environmental education and community outreach programs, primarily youth, serve over 20,000 individuals annually. Summer activities include The Glade Runner Mountain Coaster, The Mine Shaft Challenge Course, mountain biking, events, hiking and chairlift service for hike and bike transport.
