October 16, 2017 (BOISE, ID)– Bogus Basin will hire 500 employees for the 2017-18 ski/snowboard season over the next 30 days. The nonprofit recreation area is planing a job fair on Saturday, October 21st from 10:00am-3:00pm at the downtown sales office, located at 2600 N Bogus Basin Road.
Benefits include a season pass and transportation to the mountain. A range of full and part-time, weekend and holiday-only opportunities are available, including: ski and snowboard instructors, ski lift operators, mountain coaster operators, food and beverage personnel, chair riders, day care attendants, rental shop employees, auditor and more. A few full-time, year round opportunities are available as well, including Director of Nordic Operations, Accounting Manager, and Director of Ski Patrol and Risk Management.
Bogus Basin, the largest nonprofit ski/snowboard area in the nation, offers competitive wages, a fun work atmosphere, free transportation to the mountain, food and beverage discounts, free season passes for employees, and more. Bogus Basin is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to engaging the community to provide accessible, affordable, and fun year-round mountain recreation and education. Opened in 1942, Bogus Basin offers 2,600 acres of daytime skiable terrain, and 165 acres for night skiing; seven lifts and three people-mover carpets; and an 800-foot tubing hill.
