February 28, 2019 (BOISE, ID)– After receiving significant snowfall in recent weeks, Bogus Basin is planning a celebration to commemorate reaching a base snow depth of 100 inches in February. This is the first time since 1940 that this benchmark has been achieved. The nonprofit recreation area is planning a “FebruBURIED 100 Inch Party” this Saturday, March 2nd from 11:00am until 3:30pm, and the community is invited to attend.

“The amount of snow we received at Bogus Basin over the month of February has been unbelievable,” said General Manager, Brad Wilson. “We consistently received more snowfall than was forecasted.” More than 11 feet of snow fell during February, and the current storm total is over 46″. The snowfall undoubtedly contributed to brisk sales during Bogus Basin’s Annual Season Pass Sale, which began on February 18th and ends tonight. Purchasers have until midnight tonight to save up to 40% off of season pass prices.

The FebruBURIED 100″ Party will include music, and opportunities to win free custom FebruBURIED t-shirts and Bogus Bucks gift cards. 10 Barrel Brewing Company will be on site with their “Beer Cat.” For more information about this event, visit: https://www.facebook.com/events/385397488710203.
