Bogus Basin Announces Plans To Hire Over 100 Summer Employees

May 19, 2022 (BOISE, ID)– Bogus Basin intends to hire more than 100 seasonal employees for the 2022 summer season. The non-profit recreation area is seeking dedicated individuals who are friendly, positive, and enjoy being in a mountain environment.

A range of full and part-time positions are available, including summer activities operators, trail crew, ticket sellers, maintenance, environmental education staff, food & beverage workers, and more. The minimum age for applications is 15 years old.

Employees are eligible for a range of perks, including a free summer season pass, transportation to and from the area, discounts on activities, retail merchandise and food & beverage items.

“We are pleased to offer opportunities for people from a range of backgrounds– from students gaining their first job experience to retired professionals,” said Shelby Deaton, Human Resources Manager. “Bogus Basin offers a fun and friendly environment to work, play, and enjoy great perks.” Summer operations at the area are scheduled to begin on Friday, June 10th and continue into the fall.

About Bogus Basin Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area is a 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to engaging the community to provide accessible, affordable, and fun year-round mountain recreation and education. Opened in 1942, Bogus Basin offers 2,600 acres of daytime skiable terrain, and 165 acres for night skiing; eleven lifts and three people-mover carpets; an 800-foot tubing hill. The Nordic Center offers 37 kilometers of groomed trails. Environmental education and community outreach programs serve over 20,000 individuals annually, primarily youth.
