RECREATIONAL EDUCATION
We love recreation, and we have a feeling you do too. From School Nights to Life Time Sports, our recreational ed programs offer something for everyone. Every year, we invest back into these programs to give the Treasure Valley community rec ed—right in their backyard.
Almost every one has the competitive bug as some point in recreation and Bogus Basin is here to scratch that itch for you! With a number of competitive programs both summer and winter, Bogus Basin is your affordable and accessible gateway into social racing. Our community race programs span all ages and are both offered to the public and specific groups.
LIFE SPORTS & SCHOOL NIGHT PROGRAMS
Details
The Life Sports programs are offered to school groups that would like to plan skiing and snowboarding lesson day trips up to the Mountain. These program includes rentals, lift tickets, and lessons for participants. Life Sports gets the kids up to the mountain during the day, while the School Night program brings the kids up to the mountain from the late afternoon into the evening.
- Registration opens October 10th.
- Dates available to book start January 10th through March 18th.
- For 3rd -12th grade students only (ages 7 – 18), and is not designed for adults or young children.
- Transportation will not be provided.
- Available for all abilities.
- Minimum group size of 15 or more.

BOGUS BASIN NORDIC TEAM 3-6TH GRADERS
For those who wish to learn how to cross country ski, improve their skills, or simply stay active through the winter. The focus is on having fun on skis while learning and mastering the fundamental skills of cross country skiing.
BBNT is a separate non-profit Nordic ski team focused on developing young athletes ages 10-19. Their goal is to help you become better people through nordic skiing and racing. Your pursuit of nordic skiing teaches you many valuable life lessons including focus, discipline, self-confidence, teamwork and the value of clean healthy.
