This program is an introductory program and is geared toward new and novice skiers. Mouse Tracks students are grouped into very small classes of similar ability levels. Chair riding assistance is provided for Mouse Tracks students. This means that during the lesson instructors and other ski school staff will ride up the chairlift with your child.
The Mouse House, located on the first floor of the J.R. Simplot Lodge, is a special place at Bogus Basin. Filled with a friendly staff, fun instructors, and new friends, the Mogul Mouse program is poised to bring out the fun in winter sports. The Mogul Mouse program is designed specifically for children ages 4-6 years old. This program is for all ability skiers, from children who have never skied before, to those that are ready to master the mountain.
The Mountain Explorer Program includes four half day lessons. See Session dates and times for schedule. Classes meet on the flats in front of the J.R. Simplot lodge. Look for signs indicating ski or snowboard, and ability zone.
Learn to turn, or learn tactics that will allow you to challenge more of the mountain. Mountain Adventure lessons are available for all abilities. Available for alpine skiing, snowboarding, or telemark skiing.
If you are an intermediate-advanced skier or snowboarder with a desire to improve your technique and experience more of the mountain, then you’re ready for extreme Team. Extreme Team classes will explore tactics for a wide variety of terrain and conditions including the terrain park!
