Can I still visit Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area?

Effective March 18th, No patrol or emergency services are available.  The lodges (including restrooms), plaza, and base area will be completely closed to the public as our mountain operations team conducts seasonal closing procedures.  No sledding, snowplay, or toboggans will be allowed on Bogus Basin’s private property. We strongly discourage skinning, skiing, snowboarding, and hiking on the mountain during the stay-at-home order. 

Season Pass refund policy

We’d like to remind you that Bogus Basin’s refund policy states that season pass products are non-refundable, non-transferable (guest to guest), and cannot be rolled over to another season. Additionally, we make no guarantees with respect to duration of the season. No cash or credit refunds will be issued for any season pass products

REFUND POLICY

However, due to this unprecedented global pandemic and subsequent closure of the 2019-20 winter season, we are pleased to extend a one-time offer to 2019-20 Winter, 2020 Spring Only, and 2020 Spring + Winter Pass Holders only. As a show of community gratitude, you will receive all of the following:

1)  2020 Summer Mountain Bike Park Season Pass (value up to $149)

  • Valid for daily mountain bike chairlift access on Morning Star Express (Chair 2) plus weekend mountain bike chairlift access on Deer Point Express (Chair 1)
  • Pass holder must sign a summer waiver before Mountain Bike Park Season Pass can be issued. Pass is non-transferable
  • The duration of the 2020 summer season is not guaranteed, this benefit will not be replaced or rolled over to another season
  • This benefit does not apply to Nordic, College, Military, and Night Season Pass Holders*

2)  2020 Summer Unlimited Activities Day Pass (value up to $49)

  • Available for use during 2020 summer operations (dates TBA)
  • The duration of the 2020 summer season is not guaranteed, this benefit will not be replaced or rolled over to another season
  • One transferable (guest to guest) Unlimited Activities Day Pass that matches the age category of the season pass holder

3)  2021 Spring Season Day Lift Ticket (value up to $67)

  • Available for use between March 1st, 2021 and the closing date of the 2020-21 winter season
  • One transferable (guest to guest) Spring Season Day Lift Ticket that matches the age category of the season pass holder
  • The duration of the 2020-21 winter season is not guaranteed, this benefit will not be replaced or rolled over to another season

*Nordic, College, Military and Night Season Pass Holders will receive benefits #2 and #3 only.

Passes that were not directly purchased from Bogus Basin do not qualify for this offer.

How to Redeem Your Benefits:

If your pass product is eligible for the above one-time offer, your benefits will be added to your guest profile.

What does transferable mean?

Transferable means that the product can be used by a guest other than the original purchaser/recipient.

If I never used or picked up my 2019-20 season pass can I get a refund or credit?

Bogus Basin’s refund policy states that season pass products are non-refundable, non-transferable (guest to guest), and cannot be rolled over to another season. Additionally, we make no guarantees with respect to duration of the season. We will not be issuing cash or credit refunds for any season pass products 

However, if your season pass was never used or picked up you will still be eligible for the above one-time offer.

Are Family Passes, Spring Only Passes, and Spring Add On Passes eligible for the above one-time offer?

Yes, each individual in the family will be offered all three benefits, as well as all spring only and spring, add on pass holders.

Are College, Night Only and Nordic Only season passes eligible for the above one-time offer?

College, Night Only, and Nordic Only season pass holders are eligible for Benefits #2 and #3.

If I did not have a 2019-20 season pass, but I purchased a 2020-21 winter pass without spring access, do I have any special offers?

Will I receive a refund on tickets that are pre-purchased for a specific date from 3/16/20 through the rest of the season?

All tickets that were purchased with a future date will be refunded automatically to the card used when making the purchase. Please allow up to 14 business days for the refund to process before reaching out to our customer service. For more information please email info@bogusbasin.org 

What are my refund options for other mountain products purchased?

We will automatically refund products dated 3/16/20 or later, including tubing, ski school, and equipment rentals, to the card used to make the purchase. What are my refund options for Powder Packs?

Bogus Basin’s refund policy states that Powder Packs are non-refundable and cannot be rolled over to another season. Additionally, we make no guarantees with respect to duration of the season. That refund policy can be found on our Restrictions and Policies Page

Due to this unprecedented global pandemic and subsequent closure of the 2019-20 winter season, we are extending the following one-time offer to 2019-20 Powder Pack Holders only:

Any unused Powder Pack vouchers from the 2019-20 winter season will be honored during the 2020-21 winter ski season.

Tickets that were not directly purchased from Bogus Basin do not qualify for this offer.

Can I Camp At Bogus Basin?

At this time camping is not allowed at Bogus Basin.

Are the administrative offices open?

Sales office is closed.

How do I get my belongings out of my seasonal locker?

The deadline to retrieve your belongings from your seasonal locker at Simplot or Pioneer Lodge was June 30th, 2020. If you did not collect your items by this date, you may collect them by appointment only, during operating hours. Face masks/coverings and physical distancing are REQUIRED in all Bogus Basin facilities and common areas.

Seasonal Locker Rentals and Renewals

The season locker renewal period concluded on June 14th, 2020. At this time there are no more locker leases available for the Winter 2020-21 Season.

How do I return my lease/rental equipment?

UPDATE ON LEASE EQUIPMENT RETURN

Lease gear can be returned on the mountain during summer hours, OR guests can wait until the Downtown Sales Office reopens Labor Day weekend. All late fees are waived this year.

  • Lease equipment (skis, boots, poles, snowboard) will be collected at Bogus Basin’s downtown office at 2600 Bogus Basin Road.
  • Park in the Bogus Basin lot adjacent to Parkhill Drive
  • Wear a mask and practice social distancing throughout the lease return process
  • Follow directional signage when dropping off equipment
  • No Restroom access

Will uphill travel be allowed with resorts closed?

At this time, uphill travel and skiing at Bogus Basin are discouraged due to closing operations and the stay-at-home order. Please refer to our Restrictions and Policy Page for our uphill policy.

What if I have a planned event with Bogus Basin, or I would like to plan an event at Bogus Basin?

At this time our Group Sales Department will not be approving any future dates or events. We will continue to respond to requests while maintaining an orderly waitlist for date-specific requests. For more information please email groups@bogusbasin.org 

When will Bogus Basin open for summer operations?

We are following guidance from the World Health Organization and Center for Disease Control. If conditions improve, anticipate opening June 27, 2020, but it will depend on where we are with the COVID-19 pandemic.
