BOGUS BASIN ANNOUNCES PUBLIC BUS SERVICE

The non-profit has contracted with Cascade Student Transportation to provide weekend/holiday service to the area from three stops in the Treasure Valley

BOISE, Idaho – December 15, 2022 – Bogus Basin announced today that public bus service to the area is available to guests, beginning Monday, December 26th. Busses will run daily through the holidays (Monday, December 26th through Sunday, January 8th), and then weekends and holidays only, for the remainder of the 2022-23 winter season. The schedule includes one trip per day to the mountain, with pick up/drop off stops in Meridian, Eagle, and Boise.

The non-profit has contracted with Cascade Student Transportation, a local school bus company, to provide the service. In an effort to keep fares affordable for guests, Bogus Basin will heavily subsidize the cost. Passengers will pay just $10 (cash only) for a round trip and/or one-way ticket.

“There has been a lot of interest in reintroducing public transportation to the area. We hope that people take advantage of this service. Ridership data from this season will help gauge the actual demand, providing a baseline for if and how we might expand public transportation offerings in the future.”
