From summer time mountain biking adventures, to powder-perfect skiing and riding – we’ve got something for everyone at Bogus. And as a non-profit mountain, every dollar goes towards expanding and improving your experience, every single year.
Bogus Basin’s Top Activities
Alpine Skiing & Snowboarding
A pastime enjoyed by millions of people annually! Our community mountain has 10 lifts serving 88 runs, across 2,600 acres of terrain, providing 1,800 true vertical feet of skiing.
Nordic Skiing
A lifelong sport you and the whole family can enjoy.
Tubing Hill
Fun for you, your families, your friends, and groups of all sizes during the winter.
Snowshoeing
Snowshoeing is an accessible and easy way for you to get outside in the winter. With both snowshoe specific trails and shared Nordic trails, you won’t have any shortage of solitude
Fat Tire Biking
Gone are the days where the change from summer to winter meant your bike would grow lonely in the garage.
Terrain Park
No winter offer is complete without a robust terrain park! Your season kicks off with a hikeable terrain park, which is offer to the community for free.

Glade Runner Mountain Coaster
Bogus Basin is home to the only mountain coaster in the state of Idaho. This is your chance to experience 4,330 feet of high speed, twisting and turning, screaming and cheering through the woods!
Ride The Basin Gravity Park
Enjoy your day riding up the Morning Star Chairlift then letting gravity do the work while speeding through the trees of Idaho’s fastest growing bike park, The Basin Gravity Park. Beginner or expert, slow or fast – The Basin Gravity Park is the place to be!
Cross Country Mountain Biking
Spend your day exploring some of Idaho’s best terrain behind handlebars! With over 20 miles of trails, there is something for everyone. Don’t forget to stop and enjoy the views!
Base Area Activities
Can’t get on skis or a board? Enjoy our variety of base activities, still within the beauty of nature – from rock climbing, to the scenic chairlift, to our bungee trampoline.
Scenic Chairlifts
As you ascend up Morning Star Express or Deer Point Express chairlift, breathtaking views of Boise National Forest, the Sawtooth Mountains, and Downtown Boise are revealed. One at the top, you are free to wander!
Hiking
Whether you need a break from the city, or you are having a family outing, Bogus Basin is an affordable and accessible place to connect with nature.
