Let’s be real – learning never stops, so why take just take one lesson when you can spend the whole season dialing your technique and exploring new aspects of Bogus Basin,
the nation’s largest non-profit recreation area!

GROUP LESSONS

The most affordable way to learn is from a Bogus Basin certified instructor for all ability levels. Learning to ski or snowboard has never been more accessible & affordable!

Group lessons are NOT available until after November 1st.

SEMI-PRIVATE LESSONS

A private alpine lesson where you control who is with you! Invite up to 4 other friends or family members to join and learn with you, and get the most bang for your buck – Perfect for the youngsters and their friends!

Semi-Private lessons are NOT available until after November 1st.

PRIVATE LESSONS

You, the instructor, and the mountain are all there is to it for your private alpine lesson. No matter how seasoned or new you are to winter sports, a private lesson helps you hone your skills on the mountain. You call the shots because the lesson is all about you!

School Programs

Homeschool Snow Sports

The Homeschool Snow Sports program is offered to homeschool children ages 7 to 18. Different package options include rentals, lift tickets, and lessons for participants. Available for both Ski and Snowboard, all abilities.

Life Sports

The Life Sports programs are offered to school groups that would like to plan skiing and snowboarding lesson trips to the Mountain. This program includes rentals, lift tickets, and lessons for participants. Life Sports offers day and evening opportunities.

About Bogus Basin Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area is a 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to engaging the community to provide accessible, affordable, and fun year-round mountain recreation and education. Opened in 1942, Bogus Basin offers 2,600 acres of daytime skiable terrain and 200 acres for night skiing, seven chairlifts and three people-mover carpets, and an 800-foot tubing hill. The Nordic Center offers 37 kilometers of groomed trails for skiing and snowshoeing. Environmental education and community outreach programs, primarily youth, serve over 20,000 individuals annually. Summer activities include The Glade Runner Mountain Coaster, The Mine Shaft Challenge Course, mountain biking, events, hiking and chairlift service for hike and bike transport. Bogus Basin is located 16.5 miles north of Boise, Idaho, and operates under a special use permit with the Boise National Forest. www.bogusbasin.org
