Teaching Style |
After determining goals and motivations, I use a student-centered approach that has students experiment with new movements and reflect on its results so that they understand exactly what movements they performed, what it feels like, and what it allows them to do. I try to make it a collaborative effort with the student to solve problems they might be having or just learn and enjoy the mountain more. |

One of my greatest joys is when I see it “click” in the student. I know well that gratifying feeling of success when I “get it” and knowing that I was able to share that same feeling with others is something I find incredibly valuable. When I’m not skiing, I enjoy swimming, fishing, playing chess, and surfing the web. |
