I like to take my students to terrain targeted at the skill we are focusing on. I like to give my students as many advantages as possible when learning. This allows them to grasp concepts faster and be able to implement them in a shorter amount of time. My main goal, in all my lessons however, is for my students to have as much fun as possible and to see them leave their time with me smiling and high fiving their friends and family.
My wife and I were both raised in the valley and have loved Bogus Basin as our home mountain. It is such a great community resource we have so close to our home. Growing up, my parents were an amazing support to my skiing addiction, and I am very grateful for their investment in my happiness. Becoming a ski instructor has allowed me to give that back to my local community in a way that I hope will change people’s lives for the better. In the off season I enjoy spending time with my wife Savanah and our dog Kona in the great Idaho outdoors. We are expecting our first child this coming May and cannot wait to share our passion for skiing with them.
