General Information
Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area is located 16.5 miles north of Boise, ID and operates with a special use permit from the USDA Forest Service.
SUMMER: During the off season, Bogus Basin's facilities & services are not open to the general public except with reservations or for special events. Our hiking and biking trails, as well as the disc golf course are open to the general public for free. Please pack in/pack out garbage and waste. Refer to our event calendar for a list of summer activities.
WINTER: Bogus Basin is open for full winter operation mid-November through mid-April from 10am-10pm weekdays/9am-10pm weekends and holidays, depending on weather and conditions. Early and late season hours can change, so please check the snow report page or call 208-342-2100 for daily reports.

LODGES/DINING
Our lodges are available during the summer months (June-October) for private group reservations and events such as weddings & receptions, retreats and meetings. The lodges are open during the winter with full guest services.
J.R. SIMPLOT LODGE 332-5360
Base area - offering fast cafeteria style menus, beer & wine. Pizza Hut is located on the mezzanine level. Open 9am-close weekdays, 8am-close weekends and holidays.
PIONEER LODGE 332-5260
Mid-Mountain area - featuring the famous Firewater Saloon, Bogus Bob's Grill, !Arriba's Mexican Eatery on the Paradise Level; and spectacular views! Also featuring the Mid-Mountain Conference Meeting Center. Monday-Thursday (bar only w/limited menu) 4:30pm-10pm; Restaurant and Bar open Fridays 10:30am-10pm; Saturdays, Sundays and holidays: 7:30am-10pm. Call 332-5266 for availability & reservations.
FRONTIER POINT NORDIC LODGE 332-5390
Located at the Nordic Trailhead, with views of the Boise Valley and seating near a gas fireplace. No cafeteria or bar. Snacks and beverages available or feel free to bring your own lunch.

Due to the limited number of tubes allowed on the tube hill for each 2-hour session, advanced ticket purchase strongly recommended through our website or at the Ticket Office in town at 2600 Bogus Basin Road.

On weekends and holidays, you are encouraged to check our website snow report page for the parking meter (parking availability) or call the snowphone at 342-2100 for updated information. Reference our parking lot map for suggestions.
Weekends and holidays:
Free shuttles loop through the main parking lot from the skier pick-up/drop-off area near the J.R. Simplot Lodge, past the GoldRush Tubing hill, to Nordic Center, approximately every 20-minutes. During peak weekends and holidays, shuttles also run from the Silver Queen Parking lot to the Pioneer Lodge. See parking lot map.
